The stature, material, coating and texture of the sculpture all have semblance of an industrial object. Yet, human presence conveys itself beyond the industrial overtones. The partially deconstructed human appears to be weighted by the load of his own leg. The sculpture is painted with brightly colored industrial paints. The geometric assemblage of the sculpture’s components provides an array of patterns, shadow and negative space when viewed in detail.
