Portfolio > Walt's Garden

I'm building sculptures for a public sculpture garden that I plan to install in a meadow along the Methow Community Trail in Mazama. The project, called “Walt’s Garden,” is intended to honor Walt Foster and acknowledge his contributions to the Methow Valley community and trail system.

The sculpture garden will contain six large-scale steel sculptures, ranging in height from 9 to 11 feet. My intent is to create a place of reflection for trail users in the middle of a quiet, grassy meadow, with the sculptures representing the kindred spirit and community that Walt brought to the Methow Valley.

I'm looking for sponsors to bring the project to completion. Please email me if you can contribute. The target date for installation is November 2019.
